8 answers about how Aerefresh works, where to place it and what it can do.
How does Aerefresh work?
Air naturally passes through the ventilation openings and comes into contact with porous activated coconut shell carbon. Its internal surfaces adsorb many odour-causing molecules and selected gaseous compounds. No electricity, fan or fragrance is needed.
Is this a car perfume?
No. Aerefresh helps manage unwanted odours through adsorption instead of adding perfume to mask them. It is fragrance-free and completely silent.
How long does it last?
Aerefresh is designed for up to 24 months of passive use under typical conditions. Actual performance and lifespan vary with pollutant load, airflow, humidity, temperature and usage.
Where should I place it?
Place it upright in a stable, open location, such as a car cup holder, desk or shelf. Keep the ventilation openings unobstructed and the product dry. Use separate units for separate rooms.
Does it remove dust, PM2.5 or CO₂?
No. Aerefresh focuses on odours and selected gaseous compounds. It is not a HEPA particulate filter, does not remove carbon dioxide and does not replace fresh-air ventilation.
Does the carbon need sunlight or recharging?
No electrical charging or routine electrical maintenance is needed. Keep the openings clear and follow the instructions supplied with the product. Activated carbon has a finite adsorption capacity.
Is delivery available across India?
The official store advertises free pan-India shipping. Serviceability and estimated delivery depend on your address. Contact the Aerefresh team for help with your order.
What does laboratory tested mean?
The brand reports Certificates of Analysis for tested carbon batches, covering material and adsorption characteristics. Laboratory results under specified conditions are not guarantees of identical real-world performance.
